Tiffin University (3-2, 2-1 G-MAC) takes on Ohio Dominican (2-3, 1-2) at 4 pm Oct. 12 at Frost Kalnow Stadium.
Overall Tiffin has an 8-7 career record against the Panthers but have won six consecutive meetings. The Dragons have not lost to ODU since 2015 and have outscored the Panthers since then 202-114. Last year Tiffin won 44-10.Â
LAST TIME OUT
Tiffin University dialed up the passing game in their Homecoming game against Thomas More, streaking past the Saints 51-10. Tiffin racked up 409 yards through the air, connecting on 29 of 37 passes with no interceptions as the Dragons amassed a 24-3 lead in the first half.
OHIO DOMINICAN NOTES
The Panthers will look to get back on track this week following a loss at Ashland last week in which they scored just six points. In their three losses, they have not scored more than 13 points. Their highest offensive output was 38 points in a home win against Kentucky Wesleyan on Sept. 28. ODU has found themselves in trouble in the first and third quarters, being outscored 20-0 in the first and outscored 35-13 in the third. Â
PASSING: Drew Gallehue is the only QB to see action and has completed 107-of-160 attempts for 1,127 yards and six touchdowns with five interceptions. He averages 225 ypg through the air. Â
RUSHING: Nathan Webster (6th in the G-MAC) has rushed 57 times for 261 yards with three touchdowns...Shane Lindstrom has rushed 38 times for 148 yards. Â
RECEIVING: Dimitri Mitsopoulos (3rd in the G-MAC) has 33 receptions for 435 yards with two touchdowns...Jayden Cornell (4th in the G-MAC) has 30 catches for 413 yards with four touchdowns...Antonio Johnson has 15 catches for 104 yards...Shane Lindstrom has 13 catches for 71 yards. Â
KICKING/ SPECIAL TEAMS: Two kickers have seen playing time, AJ Young and Ivan Ermlich. Young has missed both field goal chances and has had one blocked. Ermlich has made 1-of-2 FGs with the one make coming from 22 yards. Ermlich has gone 5-for-5 in PATs while Young has converted 4-of-5 PATs.Â
Ivan Ermlich serves as the main punter and has 22 punts for 847 yards with two kicks over 50 yards with six landing inside the 20. Â
Dimitri Mitsopoulos will look to wreak havoc in the kick return game, returning eight kicks for 205 yards. Â
DEFENSE: Daishaun Hill leads the team with two interceptions and is second on the team in total tackles with 31...Michael Powers (3rd in the G-MAC) leads the team in solo tackles (24), assisted tackles (18), and total tackles (42)...Gavin Linkous leads the team in tackles for loss with 3.5 while Kendal Marshall and Jace Schaefer are tied for the team lead in sacks with 2.5...Caleb Taylor leads the team in pass break ups with four. DeShannon Butler is third on the team in total tackles with 29 and has 2.5 tackles for loss with 0.5 sacks. Â
TIFFIN NOTES
To have success again this week, the Dragons must finish drives. After struggling in the red zone at Ashland, the Dragons bounced back last week against Thomas More and scored in all six red zone trips. Taking care of the ball will be important as well as the Dragons did not commit a turnover in the win last week. TU will look to suffocate ODU's offense as the Dragons last week allowed only 93 passing yards and secured two interceptions with one being a pick six by

Joseph Weiers (5th in the G-MAC) is averaging 42.3 yards per punt on 14 tries for a total of 592 yards and has booted three inside the 20-yard line with two punts of over 50 yards. Â
