Tiffin University's women's wrestling team picked up three wins at the Kalahari Duals.

The Dragons got wins over Alma 29-15, Hiram 40-10, and Delaware Valley 24-23. They also had losses to Augustana 35-18 and Lock Haven 30-11.

Against Alma, Juliana Alejandro (101 pounds) opened with a tech fall 10-0 win while Jenavi Alejandro (109) got a pin in 1:24. Ariana Carrasquillo (130) also got a win by fall in 36 seconds, as did Erin Martin (170) in 1:31. Makaya Crisenbery (123) and Tia Leahy (191) got forfeit wins.

Against Hiram, the Dragons got wins in eight weight classes. Juliana Alejandro got a pin in 17 seconds while Jenavi Alejandro took a little longer for her pin in 2:41. Carrasquillo (3:25) and Abigail Miller (1:23 at 155 pounds) also got pin fall victories, while Crisenbery, Madelin Allen (130), Martin, and Leahy all got forfeit wins.

TU's closest match of the day came against Delaware Valley. Juliana Alejandro got another tech fall win 10-0 while Carrasquillo got a fast pin in 44 seconds. After Jenavi Alejandro and Allen got forfeit wins, Martin got the clinching victory with a pin in 4:21.

TU managed three wins against Augustana, with Jenavi Alejandro getting a pin in 1:03 and Martin pinning her opponent in 5:17. Juliana Alejandro also got a forfeit win.

The Dragons also got three wins from the same wrestlers against Lock Haven. Juliana Alejandro got a pin in 2:06, while Jenavi Alejandro had a 10-0 win and Martin had a 9-0 score.
