In a battle nationally-ranked teams, 31st-ranked Tiffin University (12-4) dropped a number of narrow matches, falling to 29th-ranked Findlay 4-2.

Findlay picked up the doubles point with a clean sweep. Laiying Alvarado/Samantha Sweet defeated Anaelle Lepinay/Allessandra Maganuco 6-3, Zuzanna Krygier/Emily Hadler edged Carina Avram/Emily Barrett 7-5, and Madison Arquette/Elina Ivanova dropped Jessica Peace/Shea Foster 6-3.

TU got its two points with slim singles victories. Emily Barrett beat Luciana Pereyra 7-5, 6-3 while Allessandra Maganuco pulled out the third set against Zuzanna Krygier 6-1, 3-6, 7-5.

The other close calls went the Oilers' way. Elina Ivanova beat Carina Avram 7-5, 6-3, Laiying Alvarado slipped by Anaelle Lepinay 6-3, 7-6, and Samantha Sweet came back to beat Jessica Peace 6-3, 5-7, 7-5. Sharanya Shetty vs. Laura Brito was unfinished with Shetty trailing 7-5, 3-6, 0-1.
