Tiffin University fell short in a couple close matches, as Ferris State defeated the Dragons 5-2.

Tiffin got two singles victories from Michael Gurtner in a hard fought 7-6, 1-6, 6-4 battle, while Cyrille Colomb also got a win 6-4, 2-6,  10-8. 

The Dragons could not pull out other three set matches, though, as Hugo Chatras fell 2-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2. Matthew Telford fell in a tight contest 7-5, 6-4, Gabriel de Oliveira lost 6-4, 6-4, and Joe Gilman fell 6-0, 6-4.

In doubles, all three matches were close. Chatras/Colomb fell 6-4, while Gilman/Telford and Oliveira/Gurtner both fell by 6-3 scores.
