Tiffin University (6-4, 4-4 GLIAC) couldn't pick up needed singles victories, squandering a 2-1 lead after doubles play in falling to Grand Valley State 6-3.

Caroline Nelhage/Chelsea Beck posted a tough 9-8 victory in doubles, while Valentina Mazzola/Abigail Schuter also won 8-5. TU's lone doubles loss was from Caroline Harpaintner/Bianca Avram 8-1.

In singles play, Nelhage posted a 6-0, 6-1 victory, but no other TU player could manage a win. Harpaintner dropped a grueling 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 decision, while Mazzola also lost a close one 7-6, 6-4. TU's other losses were in straight sets, with Avram falling 6-3, 6-3, Beck losing 6-2, 6-4, and Schuster falling 6-4, 6-2.
