Tiffin University (16-3) lost its semifinal match against Wayne State 5-1, putting them into the third place match on Sunday, Oct. 26 against the loser of the Northwood-Grand Valley State match.

The Dragons trailed 2-1 after doubles. Caroline Nelhage/Chelsea Beck remained unbeaten on the season, winning 8-2, but Malaika Messi/Valentina Mazzola came up just short 8-6. Rachelmary Brozovich/Abigail Schuster lost 8-2.

In singles play, Messi lost another close match 7-5, 6-2, while Mazzola (6-3, 6-0) and Beck (6-1, 6-0) also fell.
