Damien is a native of Woodville, Ohio and is majoring in Law Enforcement. He is the son of Jeremy and Shawnda Schmeltz. 

High School:

Damien graduated from Gibsonburg High School. While attending, he finished with a 143-56 career record. Schmeltz was a 3-time district qualifier, finishing 5th once.
