Tiffin University

2021-22:

Mendoza went 14-9 with 2 falls, 20 takedowns and 99 points...named First Team All GMAC...finished third at Region tourney to qualify for NCAA Championships for first time...named NWCA Scholar All American for second time.

2020-21:

Brandon earned NWCA Academic All American honors. He went 6-3 with 9 takedowns, 5 escapes, and a pin.

Personal:

Brandon is from Atwater, California, and is majoring in Health, Fitness, & Wellness. He is the son of John Mendoza and Deborah Dautrich.

High School:

At Buhach Colony High School, Brandon was a 2016 SJS Section Runner-Up and finished in the Top 12 at the California State Championship. He also earned the Class of 2016 Sportsmanship Award.

Modesto Junior College:

Prior to transferring to Tiffin, Brandon spent two years at Modesto JC, where he placed both seasons at the CCCAA state meet (6th and 3rd). He was named an NJCAA All-American in 2019.
