LaVearn went 16-13 on the year, recording 30 takedowns, a team-leading 44 escapes, and six pins. He was one of three Tiffin wrestlers to qualify for Nationals, finishing fourth at the Midwest Regional. He was also named to the NWCA All-Academic squad.
Bryan posted a solid 14-8 record with four pins. He finished with 30 takedowns, 26 escapes, and three reversals.
Bryan is a native of Ortonville, Michigan and is majoring in Homeland Security. He is the son of David and Karen LaVearn and has two siblings.
Bryan graduated from Ortonville Brandon High School. While attending, he was a 4-time state qualifier, 2-time state runner-up, 4-time league champion, 3-time team captain, and recorded 200 plus career victories.
