Played in 19 games, starting 18 of them...led team with 77 goals while also getting 12 assists for 89 points...amassed 58 ground balls with 105 draws and forcing 24 turnovers...named IWLCA Second Team All Midwest Region, First Team All G-MAC, and G-MAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year...was an offensive machine throughout the season for the Dragons, leading the G-MAC with 77 goals and finishing second in goals per game (4.42). She was also second in the G-MAC in total points with 89 and was third in overall points (4.89). The junior played all over the field as well, ranking fourth in the conference with 3.22 ground balls per game (58 total), third with 5.61 draw controls per game (105 total), and seventh with 1.33 caused turnovers per game (24 total)...Her goals per game mark is also 13th in Division II, and points per game is 37th...has been climbing up the TU record books all season, currently sitting in second in career draw controls, fourth in career goals and caused turnovers, seventh in career ground balls, and eighth in career points. She has scored at least one goal in every game this season, including four or more tallies in 13 of 19 contests, and tallied a career-high eight goals in a huge GMAC win over Findlay. Hamilton has earned Three First Team All Conference honors over her first three seasons, and was named GMAC Offensive Player of the Week four times during the regular season.
Hamilton starred on offense for the Dragons, starting all 18 games and finishing with 62 goals (2nd on team), nine assists (6th), 71 points (2nd), 34 ground balls (3rd), 89 draw controls (1st), and 23 caused turnovers (t-1st). Her draw control and goals marks both finished third in the GLIAC, while she also ended the year atop the conference in free-position goals with 24. Her 89 draw controls are the fifth-most in a single season in Dragon history, and brought her career total of 165 to fourth in the TU record books at the end of the season. Hamilton scored at least one goal in every game on the season, including 14 of 18 with three or more goals and four with at least five tallies. Her best statistical game of the year came on 4/20 vs Concordia-St. Paul, as she recorded a career-high seven goals along with an assist for eight points, as well as notching a career-high 12 draw controls. For her play, Elle was named both First Team All-GLIAC and First Team All-Midwest Region at the season's conclusion, and received a GLIAC Player of the Week honor in late April.
Elle was a standout for Tiffin in her first season, playing and starting in 18 games. She finished 2nd on the team with 36 goals and totaled 39 points. Hamilton was 10 for 15 on free position shots, and contributed defensively with 16 ground balls and five caused turnovers. Elle was a 1st team All-GLIAC selection as a midfielder.
Elle is a native of Victoria, British Columbia and is majoring in Forensic Psychology. She is the daughter of Grand and Sue Hamilton, and has two siblings. Her father played lacrosse for Team Canada and played six seasons in the National Lacrosse League.
Elle graduated from Claremont Secondary School. While attending, she played four seasons for Team British Columbia and won three National Box Lacrosse Championships with Team BC. Elle was invited to the U-19 Team Canada Lacrosse Camp, featuring the top 60 players under the age of 19 in Canada.
