TIFFIN, Ohio - Tiffin continued their nonconference slate on Thursday evening hosting Wright State-Lake and running away from the Lakers for a final score of 92-56.
Everybody got off the bench in the game for TU, and all 14 Dragons scored in the winning effort.
A pair of freshman lead the way, as Payton Vogel and Maria Dobson each tallied 13 points. Vogel hit three of the six triples that she took, while Dobson converted a couple and-ones as she had the best game of her young career.
The team stats were all in favor of Tiffin, with the Dragons shooting 42.1% to the Lakers' 33.9%, grabbing 54 rebounds compared to 38 form WSU-Lake, and dishing out 21 assists while turning the ball over just 10 times.
Tiffin also outperformed the Lakers in points off turnovers (24-10), points in the paint (54-26), second chance points (22-10), fast break points (19-7), and bench scoring (73-19).
The Dragons were slow coming out of the gate, falling behind 15-13 at the end of the first quarter.
The rest of the game was an entirely different story, however, as TU outscored WSU-Lake 35-7 in the second quarter and 79-41 over the rest of the contest.
Tiffin will look to make it a three-game win streak on Saturday when they travel to West Virginia to take on Salem at 2:00 p.m.
