Tiffin University men's and women's track and field had another busy weekend with athletes competing at the Duke Invitational hosted by Duke University and the John Homon Open hosted by the University of Mount Union.
The Dragons completed another successful meet with multiple personal bests being recorded.
Men's notable Duke Invitational results:
Gabe Douce set new personal bests in both the 800 (1:54.63) and 1500 (3:53.85) meter runs.
Ramon Rodriguez set a new personal best in the 1500 (3:41.39) breaking his own school record while also breaking the G-MAC record and placed 12th.
Elijah Miller recorded a personal best in the long jump and placed 10th, recording a mark of 7.10 meters.
Johnny Howard recorded a seventh-place finish in the decathlon.
Women's notable Duke Invitational results:
Ayanna Woods recorded a personal best in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.52 seconds.
Greta Macadam recorded a personal best time of 4:40.78 in the 1500 meter run.
Men's notable John Homon Open results:
Kameron Walker won the 400 meter dash with a personal best time of 48.12 seconds.
Nicholas Colosimo recorded a personal best time of 1:58.19 in the 800 meter run.
Kade Sutherland recorded a personal best time of 4:07.70 in the 1500 meter run to earn a fourth-place finish.
Jordan Cortner won the 400 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 52.16 seconds.
Reggie Rogers won the long jump with a personal best mark of 7.33 meters.
Isaac Waver recorded a personal best mark of 12.04 meters in the triple jump.
Brodin Mattox placed second in the hammer throw with a personal best mark of 47.21 meters.
Women's notable John Homon Open results:
Alexandrea Welshans recorded personal bests in both the 100 (13.15 seconds) and 200 (27.94 seconds).
Makiah Gurney recorded a personal best in the 800 with a time of 2:28.40.
Alexis Diehl recorded a personal best in the hammer throw with a mark of 33.17 meters.
