The Tiffin University men's golf team captured the team title at the Midwest Collegiate, finishing first out of 17 teams with a 54-hole total of 875 (290, 288, 297).
The Dragons entered the third and final round in first place and beat second-place Missouri-St. Louis by eight strokes. It is the first team title for the Dragons since they won three during the 2023-24 season.
Mitchell Brassard entered the final round in first place but couldn't hang on as Hillsdale's Robert Thompson rallied to win the individual title by one stroke.
Brassard finished second with a total of 211 (-5) following rounds of 69, 71, and 71. Liam Harvey finished fifth with 213 (-3) and recorded rounds of 72, 71, and 70.
Winston Brown finished tied for 29th with 226 (+10) following rounds of 76, 74, and 76. Daniel Aitken finished tied for 47th with 231 (+15) and had rounds of 74, 72, and 85. Max Vanoy finished tied for 60th with 234 (+18) following rounds of 75, 79, and 80.
Filip Lundqvist finished tied for 86th with 244 (+28) and recorded rounds of 84, 79, and 81.
