Tiffin University men's track and field received eight All-Conference honorees as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced the awards on Thursday.
Joshua Page earned a prestigious award as he was named the G-MAC Men's Track Athlete of the Year. Overall, the Dragons had four named to the First Team and five listed on the Second Team with one athlete earning a spot on both teams.
Page was named to the First Team for his 400 meter dash and 200 meter dash event wins at the G-MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Joining Page on the First Team was Myles Sams (triple jump winner), Octavious Joe (400 meter hurdles winner), and Ramon Rodriguez (5000 meter run winner).
Rodriguez also earned a spot on the Second Team for finishing second in the 1500 meter run. Louis Ginane, Dalton Gleeson, Brody Devlin, and Lewis Cotterill were the other Second Team selections.
Ginane placed second in the 10K run and Gleeson finished second in the 3000 Steeplechase. Devlin and Cotterill were both part of the 4x400 relay team that finished second to earn All-Conference honors.
The Dragons placed second out of 11 teams at the G-MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with 164 points.
