Tiffin University women's golf has taken sole possession of third place at the NCAA East Regional as 36 holes have now been completed.
Grand Valley State and Findlay continue to hold onto the top two spots by a wide margin. Grand Valley leads Findlay by four strokes and Findlay leads the Dragons by 25 strokes.
The 3-9 teams are separated by only 12 strokes. The Dragons as a team have a 36-round total of 617 following a round two total of 311.
Laura Goetz led the Dragons in round two recording a 74 (+2) and is tied for 16th. Lisa Marie Schumacher recorded a round of 75 (+3) and is in a three-way tie for second place.
Primross Chikwaya and Abby Thompson are both tied for 49th. Both are +17 and Chikwaya recorded a round two score of 81 while Thompson had an 84.
Louise Hedstrom replaced Jeanne Dolle on Tuesday and recorded a round of 81.
The third and final round of the tournament kicks off tomorrow and all five Dragons tee off in the late sessions beginning with Hedstrom at 12:30pm. Thompson tees off at 12:40pm, Chikwaya at 12:50pm, Goetz at 1pm, and Scumacher at 1:10pm.
