Tiffin University men's golf completed their final tune up prior to the upcoming G-MAC Championships on Tuesday as they competed in the three-day Ken Partridge Invitational at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Ind.
The Dragons finished the tournament on Tuesday on a high note, shooting a tournament-best 286 and finished eighth place out of 20 teams with a tournament total of 883 (295, 302, 286).
Missouri S&T won the team title with a total of 859 and Wayne State (Mich.) finished second with 866. The individual winner was from UIndy.
Winston Brown was the top finisher for the Dragons shooting a 74, 74, and 72 for a total of 220. Brown was one of nine participants tied for 26th place. Liam Harvey was right behind finishing tied for 35th. Harvey shot a total of 221 with rounds of 74, 76, and 71.
Christopher Bruno was tied for 49th with a total of 224. Bruno shot a 76 in both round one and round two and finished strong with a 72 in round three. Max Vanoy finished tied for 56th with a 225. Vanoy started the tournament with a 71 in round one and recorded equal rounds of 77 on day two and day three.
Mitchell Brassard finished tied for 68th with a total of 227 and improved in each round. Brassard started the tournament with an 80 and followed it with a 76 in round two and 71 in round three. Zachary Ross competed as an individual and had a tournament total of 239 while also improving in each round. Ross recorded an 81 in round one, an 80 in round two, and finished with a 78 in the final round.
