Tiffin University women's track and field made the trip to southeastern Ohio on Friday for the Cherry Blossom Invitational hosted by Ohio University. Highlighting the meet for the Dragons was Nevaeh Lewis and Cassidy Vogt both winning events.
Lewis won the 100 meter dash in a time of 11.82 seconds and Vogt won the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 14.86 seconds.
Other notable performances for the Dragons include Tatiyana Cooper-Laylor placed third in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.10 seconds and Liana Rodriguez finished second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 56.09 seconds.
Caitlyn Pokorny placed 19th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:33.38 and Caitlin Weitzel finished 19th in the 5000 meter run with a time of 19:25.41. Greta Macadam placed 13th in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:46.56 and Ally Denny crossed the line in 18:56.68 in the 5000 meter run for a 16th place finish.
Ava Mylor finished third in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:11.64 and C'airra Carter finished fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.55 meters (5' 1").
In the javelin, Onalee Keysor finished fifth with a mark of 31.54 meters (103' 6") and Vogt was sixth with a mark of 29.87 meters (98' 0").
