Tiffin University women's track and field had a busy weekend, sending one athlete to compete in California and then hosted the Tiffin Carnival at Heidelberg on Saturday. At the Carnival, six Dragons won events.
In California, Ines Macadam broke two of her own school records. Macadam recorded a new personal best time of 2:07.53 in the 800 meter run and recorded another personal best time of 4:26.10 in the 1500 meter run.
At the Tiffin Carnival, Tatiyana Cooper-Laylor won the 100 meter dash with a new personal best time of 12.12 seconds. Caliyah Wallace competed in two events, the 200 meter dash and 400 meter dash and won them both. She crossed the line 24.35 seconds in the 200 and 55.59 seconds in the 400.
Greta Macadam was the 800 meter run champion with a time of 2:18.99. Cassidy Vogt won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.74 seconds and Ava Mylor placed second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:11.06 and also recorded a new personal best in the 100 hurdles with a time of 16.41 seconds.
Makayla May placed first in the pole vault and C'airra Carter place first in the high jump.
