Tiffin University (6-6) evened its season record with a pair of wins at Hilton Head, South Carolina, as the Dragons beat Lake Superior State 5-2 and Mercyhurst 4-3.

Trailing 1-0 against the Lakers following the doubles round, TU dominated the singles matches. Janis Auslands got a three-set victory 0-6, 6-3, 1-0. Jose Portillo got a 6-4, 6-3 win while Lorenzo Perucchini cruised to a 6-2, 6-3 victory. Martin Driesner also won 6-2, 6-3. Romain Nicolas also won by retirement while ahead 6-2, 4-3.

In doubles, the sole winner for TU was Matthew Weaver/Perucchini 6-2.

Against Mercyhurst, TU got the doubles point with two wins. Weaver/Perucchini won 6-2 while Romain Marionneau/Driesner won a nailbiter 7-6 (7-2). Portillo/Nico Ritz lost a tough match 7-6 (7-3).

Marionneau got another dramatic singles win 5-7, 6-1, 1-0. Tiffin's other clinching victories came from Erwan Colin 7-5, 6-4 and Nicolas 6-3, 6-1.
