Tiffin University (1-5) battled but came up just short against 22nd-ranked Ferris State 4-3.

The Dragons fell just short getting the doubles point. Jose Portillo/Nico Ritz won a tough 7-5 victory while Martin Driesner/Romain Marionneau fell 6-3. The decisive match came from Matthew Weaver/Lorenzo Perucchini, who fell 7-6.

Marionneau got a singles win 6-4, 6-3 while Portillo also picked up a big win 6-3, 6-4. Tiffin's other point came from Romain Nicolas who won via retirement.

Another close match that went against the Dragons came from Driesner, who fell 7-5, 6-4.
