Tiffin University women's track and field traveled to Findlay on Friday for the Flag City Tune-Up. Highlighting the meet was Kaitlyn Gum winning the shot put event.
Meet highlights:
Kaitlyn Gum was the shot put champion with a mark of 13.75 meters (45' 1.25"). Makayla May placed tied for fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.58 meters. Audrey Sanzone placed third in the mile with a time of 5:27.91.
Caitlyn Pokorny placed fifth in the mile with a time of 5:33.28. Caitlin Weitzel placed seventh in the mile and recorded a new personal best time of 5:36.48. Nevaeh White tied her personal best time of 7.93 seconds in the 60 meter dash and placed sixth.
Chelsea Janis finished fourth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:01.17. Greta Macadam finished second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:20.00 and Zaynah Tate placed third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:21.34. Nevaeh White set a personal best in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.94 seconds and placed third.
