The Tiffin University men's golf team had another strong tournament, finishing third at the Doc Spragg Invitational. The Dragons finished third out of 17 teams, recording a 54-hole total of 863 (-1) following round scores of 286, 287, and 290.
Daniel Aitken earned a spot on the all-tournament team, finishing tied for fifth. Aitken finished with a total of 214 (-2) following rounds of 71, 69, and 74.
Liam Harvey finished tied for 15th with 72, 73, and 72 for 217 (+1). Mitchell Brassard and Winston Brown both finished tied for 17th with 218 (+2). Brassard had rounds of 70, 76, and 72 while Brown had 76, 70, and 72.
Max Vanoy finished tied for 49th with 73, 75, and 76 for 224 (+8). Christopher Bruno competed as an individual and finished tied for 43rd with 223 (+7) following rounds of 76, 72, and 75.
Missouri-St. Louis and Findlay finished tied for first in the team standings with 859 (-5) and the Oilers took the top mark after the playoffs.
The Dragons wrap up their fall schedule next week on October 20 and 21 at the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin in Farmington, PA.
