The Tiffin University women's golf team made the short trip to Findlay today for day one of the William Beall Fall Classic at the Findlay Country Club.  

The Dragons finished the first two rounds with a 599 after having rounds of 299 and 300. TU is currently in third place out of 18 teams and trails the top two teams Findlay and Missouri-St. Louis.  

Findlay is in first place with a 579 with Missouri-St. Louis right behind them with a 583. The Dragons will look to maintain position and improve as there are five teams behind Tiffin, all within at least 10 strokes.  

Leading the way for TU on day one was Lisa Marie Schumacher who is currently tied for third place with a 144 after having rounds 71 and 73. Schumacher is only two strokes behind the top finisher on day one from Missouri-St. Louis. Behind Schumacher is Laura Goetz with 152 and Louise Hedstrom with 153. Abby Thompson also finished day one with 153.  

The Dragons will look to chase down the top two teams as the final 18 holes will be played tomorrow.
