Tiffin University (5-4) came up just short against 16th-ranked Embry-Riddle, falling 4-3.

The match came down to the final singles match in a third-set tiebreaker. Max Navrotchi battled but came up short 6-2, 2-6, 7-6 (7-4).

The Dragons got singles wins from Ruben Fonga 7-5, 6-4, Matthew Telford 6-3, 6-2, and Cyrille Colomb in another three-setter 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Michael Gurtner and Matthew Weaver both fell in straight sets, while Tiffin also dropped two of the three doubles matches.

Tiffin's doubles win came from Colomb/Martin Driesner 6-4. Fonga/Weaver also fell in the deciding doubles match in another razor thin decision 7-6 (8-6). Gurtner/Telford fell 6-2.
