The Dragons finished top three in five different events at Findlay's Flag City Tune-Up, placing second out of a total of seven teams with 107 points.
Friday
Tiffin's only event victory came in the high jump as
Morgan Foos finished in a three-way tie for first place with a mark of 1.62 meters. She was followed by
C'airra Carter in fourth place with 1.57m.
Samantha Smith had yet another strong performance in the pole vault, tying for second and recording a provisional mark of 3.70m.
In the 60-meter hurdles,
Cassidy Vogt placed second in 9.10 seconds with
Emily Curtice finishing fifth in 9.34s. Another second-place finish came in the 400-meter race as
Chelsea Janis posted a time of 1:00.88.
The fifth and final top-three finish came in the 800-meter with
Greta Macadam coming in third with a time of 2:18.79. She was followed by
Zaynah Tate (2:21.12) in fourth and
Allison Henegar (2:29.09) in fifth.
Vogt also ended fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.15m with
Deona Davis coming in fifth with 4.89m.
Saturday
On Saturday,
Ines Macadam traveled to Notre Dame to compete at the Alex Wilson Invitational in the 800-meter. She had a stellar performance, placing fourth and setting the program record with a time of 2:08.91.
