Tiffin University (15-10) won its first doubles match but could not pick up another point, falling to Wayne State 5-1 in the opening rounds of the GLIAC Tournament.

Kyle Johnson/Nicholas Almeida posted a 8-6 victory, but TU dropped the other two doubles matches. Robbie Ball/Agustin Mangone and Ben Fievet/Jordon Simon-Chopard both lost by 8-3 scores.

TU needed to comeback in singles play but they fell in their first three matches. Fievet fell 7-5, 6-3, Ball fell 6-1, 6-4, and Johnson lost 6-2, 6-3.

TU now plays Michigan Tech at 3:45 pm.
