Tiffin University (18-9) dropped their second round game at the GLIAC tourney, as the Dragons fell to Michigan Tech 5-1. The Dragons will finish their season on Sunday, April 21 with a match against Findlay at 8:30 am.
TU's lone win came from Kyle Johnson, who posted a 6-0, 6-1 singles victory. The Dragons found themselves in a 3-0 hole after doubles play, where they lost three close matches. Leonid Vladimirov/Maximillien Waeters fell 8-6, Luiz Carvalho/Robbie Ball lost 8-4, and Johnson/Nicholas Almeida fell 8-6.
Carvalho also fell in a singles match 6-3, 6-0 while Almeida lost 6-0, 6-4.
