Tiffin University could not bounce back from three opening doubles losses, losing on the road at Michigan Tech 6-3.

The Dragons (9-5, 1-3 GLIAC) dropped two of the three matches in narrow defeats. Brian Coffman/Andres Torres fell 8-6 while Robbie Ball/Leonid Vladimirov fell 8-4.

TU did win three singles matches but lost two other matches by slim margins. Posting wins were Torres 6-4, 6-3, Vladimirov 6-1, 6-3, and Coffman in a hardfought 6-1, 7-6 (7-4) battle.

Luiz Carvalho lost at first singles 7-6 (7-2), 6-2, while Ball also dropped a three-setter 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.
