A strong showing by the Tiffin University men's golf team placed them fourth out of 13 teams at the Northwood Invitational.

TU fired a 596 two-round total, missing out on a tie at 593 with Ferris State and Ashland by three strokes.Northwood won the overall event with a 589.

Leading the way was Tyler Maranville, who finished fourth with an opening 74 followed by a second round 71 for 145. Dillon Klein also was consistent with rounds of 73 and 74 for 147 and 8th place.

Jason Crow and Jon Klein followed with totals of 152 apiece, while Blake DeBruyn rounded out TU's top five with a 157.

Also posting scores for TU were Preston Robinette (155), Tyler Reis (169), and John Kime (171).
