Tiffin University fell to 6-11 overall, 0-6 in the GLIAC with a 8-1 loss to Michigan Tech. The Huskies improve to 5-7, 1-3 in the conference.

Three close doubles matches all went the Huskies way as play opened. Leo Vladimirov/Craig Martin managed a match point but could not put the match away and eventually fell in the day's closest loss 7-9 at third doubles. Robbie Ball/Luiz Carvalho and Brian Coffman/Andres Torres both fell by 4-8 scores.

In singles play, Santiago Revelo won at fifth singles in a tight three-setter 6-3, 2-6, 10-6, but Vladimirov fell 5-7, 3-6 and Martin lost 1-6, 5-7 in two other narrow matches.
