Tiffin University (10-6, 6-0 G-MAC) maintained its perfect conference record with a dominating 17-3 victory over Ursuline.
The victory, coupled with Findlay's defeat of Lake Erie, assured the Dragons at least a share of the G-MAC title along with securing top seed and hosting of the G-MAC Tournament May 2-4. The Oilers, with one loss, could tie the Dragons if TU falls in their regular season finale with Lake Erie on April 28, but the Dragons defeated Findlay 13-12 in their head-to-head matchup.
The Dragons raced out to a 8-0 lead just 12 minutes into the contest. Elle Hamilton scored three of those goals while Ashley Osbeck also had two goals with an assist. Daniela Carey also had 3 assists in that stretch.
At the half TU led 13-1 and held a massive 14-1 edge in draw controls along with a 22-4 shot advantage. Playing their bench extensively, numerous Dragons got in on the scoring action throughout the second half.
Hamilton finished with 4 goals and 7 draws to lead the attack while Osbeck had 2 goals and an assist. Maddy Batley had 3 goals and an assist with 4 draws. Josie Brown added 2 goals, while Nini Wagner, Daniela Carey, Leah Davis, Regan Rich, Danielle Roberts, and Lindsey Willis also had goals.
Carey had 3 assists, Amie Morrison had 2 dishes, while Batley and Osbeck also had assists.
Tiffin will look to finish the regular season unbeaten with a home game against Lake Erie on April 28.
